Copper Strip Scrap

Copper Strip Scrap consists of flat, thin copper strips and foils recovered from power transformers, distribution transformers, and electrical switchgear. Transformer copper strips are wound in layers with insulating paper between them, and when transformers are decommissioned, these strips are recovered as high-value scrap. The copper used in transformers is electrolytic tough pitch (ETP) copper of very high purity (99.9%+), making strip scrap one of the most premium grades available. We buy copper strip scrap from transformer manufacturers, repair workshops, power utilities, and industrial plants. We also accept transformer cores (with steel laminations) and handle the separation process.
